Randy’s best man sat across from me at one point in the night and said “one of the most important things in a relationship is to marry your best friend…but also find someone you can grow with and change with.”
We haven’t known Andrea and Randy long…but witnessing these two exchange vows was like watching an under current break into a wave. Two best friends whose love has grown…it’s gone through changes and brokeness and healing and redemption…a love that mirrors the story of all of us.
When you watch two people, who have been through so much, walk so calmly and confidently towards one another you feel something real. You feel hope.
Andrea’s father said it so eloquently, “..you have to get through the tough times to enjoy the good times…and if you truly love your spouse you make it through the tough times together.”
We have no doubt that these two will experience tough times…but the joy that Andrea and Randy share because of the tough times inspires their family…inspires their friends…and inspires us.
And we truly couldn’t be more thankful.
