we moved our office outside yesterday. the sun was hot, but the breeze moved briskly across our backs to create the perfect balance between hot and cold. it was different to work outside, but seemed so fitting as we were reliving the story of jessica and justin’s wedding day. in the midst of all the April rain, they were given one of the most beautifully still days. you could count the clouds in the sky and each guest was just as bright as the sun. i suppose it’s hard not to be when you’re around jessica and justin.
these two glow with love towards one another. even when they are apart, you can’t help but know that Jess is thinking about him. it’s in her eyes, the way she smirks…because she knows he’ll always be there. and he will be.
34 years ago justin’s father prayed that with his marriage he would build generations of families that would serve the Lord. and when justin knew that he had found the woman that he would serve alongside, he took his father’s wedding ring, made a mold and duplicated it as a sign that he would not only invest in his marriage, but invest in his family and serving the Lord.
what a gift. that they not only found love, but have family and friends that will support their marriage and the growth of their family for generations to come.
so Jessica and Justin made a promise. that they, together, would love, serve, and always be there for one another.
even in the hard times.
