Tess + Jon, Married in Leiper’s Fork

Tess and I have been friends since we met at a college party at Michigan State University eight years ago…

It didn’t hit me until we were standing there on their wedding day……surrounded by some college friends, Tess’ entire family, the overwhelming charm of Leiper’s Fork, and the aroma of Twelve at the Table… that we’ve watched one another grow, and change, and stay the same. Jen and I were there when her sister was married. When her brother moved to Nashville (the first time). And when Tess first started to blush when Jon came around.

And Lord willing, we’ll be there to watch them learn what it means to become parents, to grow old together, to cheer them on as they celebrate good times, to be there for them when things aren’t so good, and to look back together on their wedding day and remember the perfect summer day, the refreshing watermelon mint juleps, the tart peach cobbler, and the intimacy of the 60 individuals they invited to witness them say, “I do”
